In the early stages of what comes next the grid may be up and thus computer security may be critical. I have been a huge proponent, perhaps a leading voice on the Patriot blog-o-sphere about using computer security to improve patriot communications. Remember the most important technology is between your ears. If Zello works, I would recommend Silent Circle – Voice. I have not done a detailed review of the application, but Zello has been successfully used by groups from Venezuela to Turkey. In Venezuela people depend on the walkie-talkie application Zello. We have watch the muhmmadists (Arab Spring) and people in Venezuelans using many different online applications to organize and protest against their governments. He says the following:Ĭar 41: Yeah, Mobile 1800, I want to give you a call on your cell.ĭispatcher: Car 41’s gonna give you a call on your cell phone. Soon what appears to be the police officers supervisor’s (Car 41) gets on the horn and tells him he is going to call the officer (mobile 1800) on his private phone. Thus this apparent slip up by the police officer on the air was a bit annoying for them, but revealing for us. Harris forces police departments to sign confidentially agreements to even buy a Stingray-like device.

Doesn’t look like it is impacting Harris’ stock price at all. Perhaps they don’t want veterans to know that the same company that they relied upon for good communications, is the same company hacking their cell phones now that they are back in the world. Harris doesn’t want American citizens to realize it is the primary manufacture of gear to allow the police to spy on their phones. Harris makes a lot of radios like the military’s PRC-117G and other “man pack” radios. The company Harris makes the most widely known Stingray device. You guys picking up any information, uh, where they’re going, possibly?”Ĭrime Prevention and Information Center (CPIC): “Yeah, we’re keeping an eye on it. Officer: “Yeah, one of the girls, she’s kind of an organizer here, she’s been on her phone a lot. A guy (or girl) who listens to police scanners and monitoring Chicago Citywide 6 heard this exchange.

What they do to these people today, they will do to you tomorrow.Īpparently on the day after Christmas a bunch of protestors were trying to raise a stink during the normally busy shopping day. That the government has taken it upon itself to spy on anyone doing this? That is pretty downright sick.

Even if you don’t like the peaceful protest, you must stand firmly for people’s right to raise a stink. I would love to see the legal authority where the federal government can monitor the private phone calls of anyone wanting to protest against their government. Not surprising, only thing is how fast that happen. We have some evidence that the federal, local and state police departments are using Stingray and other cell phone intercept capabilities against the leaders of the “I can’t breathe” protests.
